| The Kentucky Watercolor Society was formed in 1977 to promote water media as an important medium in the arts community and provide support and educational opportunities for water media artists. To that end, KWS sponsors exhibitions, competitions and workshops for professional, hobbyist, and beginning artists. The Kentucky Watercolor Society is a non-profit, nationally recognized, all-volunteer organization. | Middletown Public Library Exchange KWS members are invited to display work at the Middletown Public Library. Artwork displayed and artists featured are selected on a rotating basis. | On May 15th, Alex Preston shared his expertise at the KWS Gallery in Mellwood (pictured above). Alex did a demonstration of some Jaquard products including Dye-na-Flow and Procion MX Dye. After the Demo, KWS members had the opportunity to ask questions, try out the new techniques, and enjoy refreshments before a brief General Meeting. |
